I appreciate the quality and convenience of Pet-Tao. When traveling or otherwise not cooking for my own dog I feed her the balanced, winter and summer diets. The availability of already prepared, balanced TCVM formulated diets has been such a relief for my time-strapped clients. The pasteurized versions are of particular help with my older or weaker patients as well as for clients concerns about feeding raw foods. I do regularly recommend Pet-Tao products.

Having Pet-Tao foods available in our clinic has been great for clients wanting to feed their pets according to the tenants of Chinese Medicine. The diets take a lot of guess work out of home formulating a food based on their pet's TCVM (traditional Chinese veterinary medicine) pattern. Dogs really seem to love it which increases compliance for feeding. Also Pet-Tao's option of canned and raw frozen diets is wonderful, as some pet owners are uncomfortable feeding raw and when raw is inappropriate for the pet.

For the last eight years it has been a constant struggle to feed my two 9yr old Lhasa Apsos. A few months ago Justice was in very poor shape and had been diagnosed with liver disease and arthritis. Our traditional vet didn't give her much time. Then I found a holistic vet who began treating Justice and recommended food from Pet-Tao. Justice had been on two prescription appetite stimulants and would still barely eat anything I offered. Then the food from Pet Tao arrived. Not only is Justice eating, she is no longer taking the appetite stimulants and her liver function returned to a normal range.
