PET | TAO TREATS
PET | TAO reats can be more than just a fun snack! Did you know that you can use treats to improve your pet’s health? PET | TAO® treats are based on the Yin & Yang and The Five-Element Theory. In Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, the Five-Element Theory explains the relationship between the five naturally occurring elements in the environment.
And if that’s not enough, all our treats are single-ingredient, freeze dried organ meats. Organ meats are naturally low in fat and high nutrients, providing a very healthy treat for dogs and cats.
PET | TAO TREAT FEEDING SUGGESTIONS
According to the Five-Element Theory, consuming specific foods promotes the function of one or more of the five major organs in the body. For example, a dog with heart disease needs to strengthen the heart. Strengthening the heart can be accomplished by consuming heart.
Likewise, a dog suffering from hepatitis, liver insufficiency, or increased liver enzymes benefits from eating liver. Liver in the diet strengthens the malfunctioning liver.
